Kirkintilloch motorist charged for driving without his specs on

A MAN has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after police allegedly caught him driving wthout his glasses.

Police say the man’s driving licence includes a condition that he must not drive a vehicle unless he wears suitable glasses or contact lenses.

He was charged at around 2.10pm on Friday, April 19, in Catherine Street, Kirkintilloch.

In a seperate incident, a smoker is facing a fine after being accused of not disposing of his cigarette end properly in the early hours of the morning.

The 18-year-old man allegedly dropped the cigarette butt on the road in David Donnelly Place, Kirkintilloch, at around 2.20am on Sunday, April 21.
