Kirkintilloch Rob Roy: End of an era

Many football fans will be saddened to hear that the end of an era is fast approaching for Kirkintilloch Rob Roy as the club prepares to leave its famous Adamslie Park home.

The ground has been sold to developers and from next season Rabs will play their home games at Cumbernauld United’s Guy’s Meadow Park.

However, looking to the future, Rob Roy have unveiled ambitious plans for a new, purpose built, community stadium in the Southbank area of Kirkintilloch.

So hopefully it won’t be too long before they are back playing in Kirky once more.

Adamslie Park has been the venue for many great games and witnessed many talented players turning out for Rabs over the decades.
