Kirkmuirhill woman proposes to her boyfriend live on radio

Madalene (35), of Swan Street, popped the question during a special slot on Clyde 1’s breakfast show.

“I was very, very nervous about proposing to Jamie live on radio,” Madalene told the Gazette.

“I’d been shaking like a leaf all morning, even although I knew that Jamie would say ‘yes’.

“It would have been extremely embarrassing for me if he’d said ‘no’!

“So I was relieved to get the whole thing done and dusted.

“Jamie is over the moon as well and he can’t believe I asked him to marry me live on the radio.”
