Lanark Community Council is too much like the Vicar of Dibley

This plea comes from its own chairman, Frank Gunning, the man who plays the David Horton role in the Royal Burgh of Lanark Community Council.

And, like the chairman of the Dibley Council, he has repeatedly displayed his frustration that business being discussed at meetings can ramble off into all sorts of other issues. Frank fears that younger people attending would become so bored they’d fall “into a coma”.
