Lanark Grammar School fashion show

LANARK Grammar's fashion show in Greyfriars Church was a resounding success.

Senior pupils — girls and boys — and a few teachers went through their paces on the catwalk, showing off the latest designs from Lanark's boutiques.

"The atmosphere was fantastic," said organiser, sixth-year pupil Edward Pringle. "I am absolutely ecstatic."

In addition to fashion, the evening included demonstrations of hairstyles and make up, and there was entertainment by the school jazz orchestra and the fourth year dance squad.

There was also a tombola and the final total raised was just under 1000 which will go towards school funds, as well as helping with costs of the senior prom.
