Lanark pupils will be on BBC Children in Need

The nationally-famed symbol of the BBC’s annual Children in Need charity effort, Pudsey Bear, met some of his young supporters at Lanark Primary School last week.

The school and associated nursery held a day of fund-raising events for the charity with £1,900 raised so far with more cash still to come in from sponsors.

While there, Pudsey was given a guided tour of the school and nursery classes and of the various outdoor woodland projects the children are currently undertaking. There will be several Lanark Primary pupils in the Childreen in Need Live Choir performing during Friday night’s fund-raising telethon.
