Lanark soldier Rab Turner home for Christmas - and his birthday
WHAT’S Buckingham Palace got in common with Lanark? Well, a certain Robert `Rab’ Turner, that’s what.
Having passed out a few weeks ago as a Scots Guardsman after his final training at Catterick, 17-year-old Rab stood guard at the Palace for the first time last week, before returning home to mum Frances and 16-year-old sister Shannon for Christmas leave.
