Lanark Tesco team raced their way to £2000
Ladies from the Lanark Tesco store took part in the annual Race for Life 5km in Glasgow in May to raise money for Cancer Research, and even a heavy shower of rain and hailstones didn't dampen their spirits.
Group leader Laura Sked said: “Every year ladies from our store make a huge effort to support this great cause.
“Everyone has her own personal reason for doing this and although it can be quite emotional we try to have fun and turn Glasgow pink for the day. Although we got soaked through we still had a smile on our faces.”
The group raised over £2000, and Laura thanks all the ladies who braved the rain to take part and the staff and management from Tesco Lanark for all their support.
