Lanark volunteers train to drive bus for much-missed service
A TRIO of Lanark volunteers have come forward to train as bus drivers to bring back a much-missed service for the area’s clubs and organisations.
Now all they need is a bus for them to drive!
The Gazette reported back in June the dismay at the announcement that the town’s `Wee Bus’ – officially entitled the Lanark Community Minibus – was getting the chop after many years providing subsidised, affordable transport for our area’s many voluntary groups and organisations.
