Lanarkian lads raise funds for Wishaw Hospital
A trio of Lanarkians used pedal power to show their support for a vital medical unit giving hope to hundreds of cancer patients.
A very special personal motive lay behind the 51 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh sponsored cycle ride made by 26-year-olds Craig Welsh and Andy McAllister along with 30-year-old pal Gareth Brown.
The Wishaw General Hospital Oncology Day Bed Unit they rode to raise £1550 for was where Craig’s mum Marion had received treatment before she died earlier this year.
