Lanark’s Border Biscuits wins national food award
LANARK-based Border Biscuits took the award for Best Bakery and Cereal Based Product at the prestigious Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards with its new Gourmet Goodness range.
The team, of South Faulds Road, received the award at a ceremony at the Hilton Dunblane Hydro hosted by BBC 2 food expert, Nigel Barden on Thursday May 26.
Louise Creevy, national account manager for Border Biscuits, said: “The Gourmet Goodness range is just hitting shelves in Scotland now and this is a great endorsement of the work that the team here at Border Biscuits has put in over the past three years to develop the flavours.
