Lanark’s Celia Orr Dance School gives away £6000
WHAT has become Lanark’s very own ‘fame academy’ has danced its way to two major milestones this year.
Literally hundreds of youngsters have `tripped the light fantastic’ at the Hope Street premises, which this year celebrates its fortieth anniversary.
However, even more important to Celia is the fact that the school’s legendary shows, held every two years for charity, have now raised over £100,000 for very worthy local causes.
