Lanark’s vital road link to the Clyde Valley is set to re-open this weekend after the laying of a new electricity cable

Assurances have been given that Lanark’s vital road link to the Clyde Valley will be fully re-opened to traffic on Sunday. As reported in the Gazette, the laying of a new electricity cable from Stonebyres Power Station to Whitelees Road has caused widespread road disruption in Lanark for the past few months.
