Lanark’s Vogue Bingo Hall saved

However, thanks to a courageous – and expensive – decision by its owner, the Vogue Bingo Hall, formerly the Regal Cinema, has re-opened its doors after over £80,000 of emergency repairs.

Owner Martin Carroll now freely admits he was “strongly tempted to turn the key in the door and just walk away”.

But he didn’t and hundreds of locals will be delighted that Martin decided to save the building.
