The Lanarkshire Business Hub, formerly Knowledge Transfer Hub, offers local businesses a free forum to meet and share business knowledge and experience through a range of networking events.

Originally established in Motherwell College in 2009, Lanarkshire Business Hub is now run by New College Lanarkshire to offer free membership to local businesses, providing monthly events, workshops, advice and networking opportunities.

With the larger reach of New College Lanarkshire and its three main campuses in Coatbridge, Cumbernauld and Motherwell, the service rebranded as Lanarkshire Business Hub to reflect the enhancement of its offerings to local businesses.

The re-launch has also included a refresh of its services, with the creation of a new LinkedIn service which will provide members an additional forum to share key information about upcoming events, funding advice and business opportunities.

Deborah Grant, commercial development manager at New College Lanarkshire, said: “Our membership has continued to go from strength to strength with the establishment of valuable working relationships and effective business information exchange between our members.

“The feedback from our 250 members has been integral in the shaping of the new Lanarkshire Business Hub and will continue to be moving forward.”
