Alan Wells, one of the organisers from Castlehill Baptist Church, said: “The climbing wall is always very popular with kids and there will be lots of other great activities on the day such as children’s races, a dog show, a bouncy castle, puppet and dog shows.

“After last year’s stunning success, it is hoped that the whole community will again come along for a great community day out.

“Whatever the weather throws at us we’ll have fun and enjoy getting together for our annual community event.”

Caulders Garden Centre will be hosting workshops in the marquee to show off the latest plants for the late summer.
