There's just 12 days to go till Giffnock's annual classic car rally '“ a fun-filled day of beautiful machines and gala-style entertainment '“ and only a few spaces for autos remain.

The organisers have put out the call toay for anyone still to register an interest in taking part to get in touch - call Sharon on 07876790800 or email [email protected] for more information.

Bouncy castles, street entertainers, live music and plenty of other attractions are reckoned set to make this fourth classic car show (11am to 5pm, Saturday, September 2) the best to date.

The one thing the organisers advise non-participants not to bring to the show is an actual car, for the simple reason that most of the local spaces will inevitably be used by vintage and classic autos.

The cars will be displayed in the Wholefoods and Station Road car parks on the day.
