Last chance to nominate your local heroes
Time is running out to nominate your local hero for East Renfrewshire’s citizen of the year award.
The Provost Award recognises people who make selfless contributions to their community — and nominations for those unsung heroes and heroines must be in by October 10.
Provost Alastair Carmichael said: “I would urge you to put forward an outstanding citizen for this award. It is the perfect opportunity to say thanks to them and I am looking forward to reading the inspiring stories.”
