Two 17 year old men were taken to hospital after an incident at a house in Millcroft Road, Cumbernauld, on the evening of Friday, May 24.

One of the men received eight stitches to the head.

The other man was also treated at hospital, receiving six staples to his head.

Police at Cumbernauld say a 16 year old female and a 15 year old male have been reported in connection with the incident.

Thieves snatched jewellery and other items from a home in Cumbernauld during a break-in.

The property on Blantyre Gardens was broken into sometime between Friday, May 24, and Monday, May 27.

Police say thieves gained access by forcing a window open.

A number of tools were stolen from a garage in Locksley Avenue, Cumbernauld, on the evening of Sunday, May 26.

A 24-year-old male was arrested in Kilsyth. The man was arrested on the evening of Saturday, May 25, in the Colzium Estate, Police in Cumbernauld say he was allegedly found in possession of quantity of Class A drugs.

A quantity of fuel was stolen from a car company in Gartferry Road, Moodiesburn after thieves damaged the perimeter fence and forced entry.

An oven was stolen from a snack van which was parked at Tannoch Drive, Cumbernauld. The theft happened between Thursday, May 23 and the following day.
