Law Christmas lights switch-on moved indoors to Tom Craig Centre

FOR the first time in its seven stagings, the Law Christmas lights switch-on celebrations were moved indoors to the Tom Craig Centre as a result of the torrential rain and high winds which hit the village on Friday.

But there was still an incredible turnout of around 200 people to enjoy carol singing by Law Primary School choir, before the village’s lights were switched on by Santa Claus and Carluke Gala Queen Caitlyn Morrison.

Caitlyn, a Carluke Primary School pupil, said: “I would rate this day as being 10 out of 10!”
