Law women on their bikes for Millport
Scores of women from the village of Law raised thousands of pounds for charity by sailing to Millport and cycling round the island last year...and they enjoyed it so much they are doing it again.
“I wasn’t planning it,” said organiser Mairi McMinn.
“But people came to me and asked if we were doing it again, and I sent out a text to everyone and, before I knew it, I had 100 names.”
Last year they raised £22,000 - and they don’t know how much they will raise this Saturday, March 24,
