Lead stolen from primary school roof
A council is totting up the cost after thieves stole lead from Gartosh Primary School.
Police officers are investigating the theft, which happened on June 24, and are still assessing the full cost to repair the damage.
However, as the school broke up for summer days later, it has not got a long-term impact on classes.
A North Lanarkshire Council spokesman said: “We would appeal for anyone with information to contact the police on 101.”
