Leadhills Gala Day 2010

Sky was crowned Gala Queen and her mum celebrated by putting in a procession entry Alice in Wonderland, Queen of Hearts.

Sky's home was also decorated with love hearts.

This year's events went well, boosted by the warm sunshine.

"It was very good," said gala secretary Charlotte Paul. "The weather was great, which always helps."

The parade through the village was backed by Upper Nithsdale Youth Pipe Band.

Sky was crowned in the village hall by last year's queen Amy Hillan.
