Legal action over Southern General

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde faces legal action over a report detailing alleged asbestos contamination at the Southern General hospital.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has referred the report — on a plant room in the southside facility — to the procurator fiscal.

The HSE has advised no action will be taken following investigations into Dykebar hospital, Clydebank health centre and Inverclyde Royal hospital.
