Local firms recognised at scotch pie awards
Denholm Bakers Ltd, which has shops in Motherwell and Wishaw, officially makes the best scotch pies in Lanarkshire after winning silver at the Scotch Pie World Championships held in Cumbernauld last week.

There was recognition too for James Chapman (Butchers) Ltd, which also has shops in tbne two towns, as it received bronze for its mince bridie.
