Local MP supports British Legion Poppy Appeal launch
LOCAL MP Gregg McClymont has stood shoulder to shoulder with the local branch of the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal Committee to help launch their yearly Poppy Appeal campaign ahead of Remembrance Day on November 11.
The charity helps members of the Armed forces and their families when they need it most; from rehabilitation when they are injured and debt advice to counselling and helping people find work.
Gregg said: “The Legion is the leading charity in providing support for injured soldiers and bereaved military families. The job they do is crucial.
“It is important that we remember those who have given their lives for the freedoms we enjoy and wear our poppy with pride
