Locals angry at controversial Biggar Primary plans

AN objector to the controversial Biggar Primary plans said the council had not listened to locals who want to save the old building.

Alan Campbell (42) told the Gazette that those living in the town are angry and upset at the thought of the Victorian school building, in South Back Road, being demolished to make way for a new school.

“People feel that the council hasn’t properly consulted them and that our voices haven’t been properly listened to,” said Alan.
