Luggiebank water causing a stink
Simon and Garfunkel may have sung of a bridge over troubled waters, but at the Luggiebank, residents are concerned about a bridge over smelly waters.
Cumbernauld resident, and dog walker, Alan Cummings, contacted the News and Chronicle to say that there was a particular part of the stream that was giving off a putrid smell.
Alan said: “I was physically sick one of the times I passed it. It’s putrid and it’s been like that for a number of years.”
