Lyndsay Waddell laps up 250 lengths at Carluke pool
That’s exactly what Law’s Lyndsay Waddell did at Carluke Leisure Centre to help raise money for sufferers of Williams Syndrome.
“I was very tired by the end of the swim but the adrenaline kept me going,” said Lyndsay (23), of Quarry Road. “The hardest parts were the first 50 and last 50 lengths.”

The 46-year-old, of Braefoot Court, Law, said that the atmosphere among spectators improved immeasurably when Lyndsay’s friends and family were allowed to cheer her on from poolside for the final 10 lengths.
Mairi said: “There was a terrific atmosphere at poolside.”
