Man charged after attempted break-ins to cars in Kirkintilloch street

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to break in to a number of cars parked in a Kirkintilloch street.

The incident happened around 9.20pm at Highfield Road on Thursday, February 1 at Highfield Road.

Police charged the man who was taken into custody and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
