Man charged with drink driving

A MAN who left the scene of a crash in Cumbernauld has been arrested for allegedly drink driving.

The 34-year-old in the town’s Marmion Place at around 11pm on Sunday, August 26, when witnesses told police that they heard a loud bang and saw two cars had collided.

The man left the car and was later traced by police who reported him to the Procurator Fiscal for allegedly drink driving.
