Man identified after fatality at Glasgow's Mount Florida Station
Detectives from British Transport Police have identified a man who sadly died on the railway at Mount Florida station on Wednesday, January 2.
Officers were called to the area at 11.29am on January 2 after reports of a body being found by rail staff. Paramedics also attended. However the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police launched an appeal to try to identify the man so that they could contact his family and provide any support they needed.
The deceased has now been identified as a 28-year-old man from Glasgow.
Officers thanked those who assisted by sharing their appeal for more information.
