Man seriously assaulted in front of his young child

The 28-year-old man was getting into his car with his family around 6.45pm in Scaraway Street, Milton on Wednesday, August 12 when he was approached by two men who attacked him. The two men then made off in a vehicle.

The victim was left with facial injuries and had to go to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Detective Constable Katy Allan of Maryhill CID said: “Officers have been examining CCTV and we can see that the surrounding area was busy at the time with buses, taxis and other vehicles.

“I would urge anyone who saw what happened to contact police immediately.

“Anyone with information about this incident should call police on 101 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls will be kept anonymous.”
