Man urged to help with serious assault investigation

Police Scotland has released this image of a man because they think he may be able to help with their enquiries into a serious assault.

A 49-year-old man was attacked and sustained serious injuries on Friday, September 2 at around 4.20pm on Union Street in Glasgow.

The man in the CCTV image is described as white, in his early twenties, around 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark hooded top, dark jogging bottoms and distinctive blue trainers. He was last seen on Union Street turning right towards Central Station.
