McDonalds team dig deep for Rouken Glen
A crew from McDonalds Thornliebank grabbed swapped golden arches for high vis vests recently and headed for Rouken Glen Park.
In partnership with Keep Scotland Beautiful, franchisee Jim McLean responded to an appeal from the local community council with help tidying up the park - and so 10 of his staff members dug in and helped to install raised flower beds, tidy the volunteer garden and cut back trees.
Jim commented: “It makes me extremely happy and proud to see the restaurant team come together to improve Giffnock’s park. A big thanks to everyone for volunteering their time and helping make Giffnock a cleaner, prettier place to live.”
