Michelle McManus is coming to Milngavie Folk Club!

The Michelle McManus Acoustic Sessions will feature Michelle, Tim Black and Steve Caban.

Michelle says she is delighted to be going back to her first love - singing and performing.

She met Stephen Caban, who owns CC Music in Glasgow’s West End, many years ago while she was performing with former international rugby star and Radio Scotland presenter John Beattie in his all star band from the BBC.

Through her friendship with Stephen she met Tim Black and she thinks they are two of the most talented and gifted musicians in the country right now.

They decided to get together and perform an evening of acoustic tracks which are a combination of original music that they’ve written together and some classic country and contemporary music as well.

Michelle says that their take on the Queen classic Fat Bottomed Girls is one of her particular favourites for a variety of reasons and she can’t wait to perform it live.
