Miss GB aims to get party started on Ladies' Night

The Lanarkshire lass will be in attendance at the venue’s Alea Casino Ladies’ Night on Saturday where X-Factor winner turned soap star Shayne Ward, X-Factor finalist and I’m a Celebrity favourite Jake Quickenden and telly heartthrob Mark Wright will all be performing.

The 27-year-old visited the course ahead of the iconic event as she geared up for the most glamorous night of the year.

She said: “I am delighted to be coming to the Alea Casino Ladies’ Night at Hamilton Park Racecourse. I have heard fantastic things about the event and this year’s line-up really is something else.

“As a venue you really can’t get better than Hamilton Park - the surroundings are just stunning. The stage is set for what is sure to be a day and night to remember.”

Shayne and Jake will wow the crowds with performances at 2pm and 4pm respectively, before Mark’s show-stopping DJ set takes revellers into the night at 9pm.

Jake will also judge the Best Dressed Lady Competition at 5pm, hosted by Capital FM’s Des and Jenny, the winner will walk away with £1,000 and there will be a host of other great prizes.

There will also be an exciting shopping and pamper area in association with fashion partners Debenhams, plus the Moet & Chandon Champagne and Cocktail bar and complimentary hair-ups from beauty partner Rainbow Room International.

Highland Spring will provide 1,000 free bottles of water as part of the venue’s responsible drinking ‘Pace Yourself’ campaign.

On the course, the highlight of the racing action will be the £10,000 Alea Casino Handicap Stakes (Class 4).
