Mixed report for NHS Lanarkshire

But the death rate in Lanarkshire is still well above the national average for Scotland.

The 2011-12 Annual Report of the Director of Public Health looks at the health of Lanarkshire’s population, important trends and the work being done to improve our wellbeing.

“There have been some key achievements, including raising awareness of the importance of early booking in pregnancy.”
