Moor Park, Carluke playpark still planned
THE plan to re-develop Carluke’s Moor Park is still very much on, despite the town’s Development Trust missing out on several grants.
With the council’s successful re-development of the Wee Moss playpark, several parents contacted the Gazette to ask whether or not the plan to re-develop Moor Park, for the town’s older children, was still going ahead.
And despite the trust, together with local children’s group the Stork Club and the rural development trust, running into problems in securing the funding needed to get the project off the ground, it is still hoped that the re-development will take place.
