MP backs Mencap campaign
Local MP Jo Swinson has signed up to show her support for Mencap’s Hear my voice campaign.
The new campaign is about empowering people with a learning disability and their families to have their voices heard by their local MPs and candidates in the lead up to the general election in May.
Jo said: “People with a learning disability and their families deserve to have their voices heard on the issues that matter to them, just like everyone else. I am listening and I hope that other MPs and candidates will do the same.”
