Mugdock Park gets lit up for festive season
The popular park was transformed into a festive wonderland with a range of attractions - including children’s rides, local choir, face-painting, arts and crafts, late-night shopping and a visit from Santa.
Councillor Eric Gotts, Chair of Mugdock Country Park Joint Management Committee, switched on the Christmas lights.

“I would encourage everyone to visit Mugdock Park - before and after Christmas. This is a particularly beautiful time and there is a superb range of leisure, conservation, retail and cultural activities on offer.”
In addition, the ‘Friends of Mugdock’ scheme was launched.
Becoming a member will help to support the park in future developments and also provide the card holder with exclusive benefits within all the businesses.
Donation posts have also been installed to help raise valuable funds.
