Mums and grans welcome to the world cafe
Generations of women are coming together this week for the latest of East Renfrewshire’s Women in Conversation sessions.
The mums and grans world cafe takes place on Wednesday in Fairweather Hall, Newton Mearns — led by the Mearns Village Community Association — and will include a quiz, nappy-changing activity and a look at childcare through the ages.
The sessions were set up at the request of female residents, and the cafe event takes place from 12.30-3pm, followed by more activities over the coming months — to book a free place, call 577 3657, or drop in on the day.
