Nanette Stott is Biggar Rotary’s Citizen of the Year

MEMBERS of Biggar Rotary Club were delighted to announce 80-year-old Nanette Stott as their Citizen of the Year for 2014.

Over the years Nanette has been actively involved in a large and varied number of activities in several organisations including Biggar Kirk, the Evergreen Club, the Gillespie Centre, the Guild, the Area Rural Choir, the Carwood Rural and the Sunday Club.

On receiving the award, Nanette said that she was keen to give her time and service to the community which has been very kind to her.
