New era for Coulter Primary School

COULTER Primary School pupils and teachers bade a fond farewell to their old school – and celebrated its centenary – by opening the doors to former pupils, staff, parents and friends.

The original school was built in 1911 so there was a wealth of displays of old photographs and memorabilia that were enjoyed over coffee and cake.

The day was a huge success and included oldest former pupil, Donald Fell, entertaining the crowds with his many tales.
