New excavator and tracked dumper delivered to Lanark-based Clydesdale Community Initiatives

THERE was double cause for celebration at the Lanark-based Clydesdale Community Initiatives when it took delivery of two new pieces of state-of-the-art plant which represent official recognition of the work it does getting folk with learning difficulties into employment.

The North Vennel headquarters staff along with members of the workforce and volunteer helpers gathered to admire the new excavator and tracked dumper, worth almost £31,000, purchased thanks to a grant of £44,600 the organisaton has received from the Scottish Government’s Enterprise Growth Fund.

The new equipment will be used in forthcoming projects such as the creation of the Kirkmuirhill Burn Road Play Park.
