New Lanark Victorian Fair 2012 Slideshow

ORGANISERS of the annual New Lanark Victorian Fair have decided that this year’s 34th instalment of the colourful five-hour event is to be the last.

A 3500 crowd enjoyed browsing 20 stalls manned by people wearing traditional Victorian dress at the final event.

New Lanark Visitor Centre’s Kirsty Chalmers said: “We’ve decided that the 2012 Victorian Fair will be the last because the format is getting a bit tired.
