New panels detail history of Cumbernauld House Park

A COMMUNITY group is helping to unlock the secrets of the past in a magnificent stretch of greenery which dates back to the 17th century.

A COMMUNITY group is helping to unlock the secrets of the past in a magnificent stretch of greenery which dates back to the 17th century.

The Friends of Cumbernauld House Park believed that many visitors to the area were unaware of the history surrounding the facility - and have now proudly unveiled a set of panels which provide information on this heritage site.

Helping them launch them was former historian Gregg McClymont MP, who said: “Friends of Cumbernauld House Park have done a terrific job.”
