New SNP MPs in historic photocall
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon praised the party’s new Westminster MPs when they met for a historic photocall in South Queensferry this morning.
The 56-strong group now heading to London came together for the first time from all parts of the country.
Ms Sturgeon said she was “bursting with pride” following the SNP’s landslide victory which saw them turn the political map of Scotland yellow.

Hide AdLabour, the Conservatives and Lib Dems are left with only one Westminster representative each following Thursday’s General Election.
The party leader said ending austerity would be a priority for those going to Westminster to represent the people of Scotland.
