Nicola Sturgeon opens Carluke Health Centre

DEPUTY First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has officially opened the new £14 million Carluke Health Centre.

Nicola, who is also the cabinet secretary for health and wellbeing, unveiled a plaque at the centre, which has been operational since August, in front of dignitaries, staff and patients on Tuesday.

She also met S2 pupils from Carluke High School, who designed artwork for the centre – notably a colourful piece which pays tribute to famous Carluke doctor Dr Daniel Rankin.
