Nominate unsung heroes for award show
The hunt is on for local heroes from East Dunbartonshire for a new TV series.
Scottish Television wants the public to nominate their community champions for Finding Scotland’s Real Heroes, which airs this autumn.
The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, June 30.
The new series, presented by Carol Smillie and nominated by RBS, will see viewers casting their vote for the overall winner.

Hide AdCarol said: “The wonderful thing about real heroes is that they don’t think they’re heroes at all, and they believe they’re just doing what anyone would do.
“We need the public to come forward to nominate these incredible people so we can shine a light on the local heroes making a real difference within their community.”
The public can nominate online at stv.tv/realheroes, by phone and by post.
